Integrated Production System from Motor to Pump

Production Facilities

Motor Production Building

  • FMS Processing Area

    FMS Processing Area

A Flexible Manufacturing System (FMS) linking machine tools, material handling equipment, and an automated warehouse enables efficient high-mix, low-volume machining as well as unmanned overnight operation.

  • Shaft Processing Area

    Shaft Processing Area

Robots are used to automate a sequence of operations including processing, quenching, and polishing.

  • Motor Winding Area

    Motor Winding Area

Stators ranging from 2.2 to 75 kW are produced here. We also manufacture motors that comply with standards worldwide, including requirements for voltage ratings and insulation classes.

  • Automated Warehouse Area

    Automated Warehouse Area

A 960-rack automated warehouse stores and transports parts for motor assembly. An inventory management system linked to the automated warehouse in the Pump Production Building centrally manages storage locations and quantities.

  • Motor Assembly Area

    Motor Assembly Area

Motors of up to 350 kW—including those designed after ordering—are assembled.

  • Testing Area

    Testing Area

A dedicated test tank enables simultaneous performance testing of up to four pumps with discharge diameters ranging from 50 to 350 mm.

  • Automated Parts Warehouse

    Automated Parts Warehouse

A 9,500-rack automated warehouse stores pump parts, while an inventory management system centrally manages storage locations and quantities.

  • Parts Distribution Area

    Parts Distribution Area

A system for efficiently supplying the necessary parts to assembly lines based on production instructions.

  • Assembly Lines

    Assembly Lines

There are four assembly lines from No. 1 to No. 4. These can also handle the assembly of small, general-purpose pumps and special-purpose pumps.

  • Cable Assembly Area

    Cable Assembly Area

Cables are assembled employing our expertly designed anti-wicking blocks.

  • Ordered Parts Assembly Area

    Ordered Parts Assembly Area

Pumps of up to 350 mm in diameter designed after ordering are assembled.

  • Shipping Area

    Shipping Area

A 3,000-rack automated warehouse stores finished products. Products managed in the warehouse are shipped the day after a shipping request is received.

Engineering Division

Engineering Division (hot desking)
Engineering Division (hot desking)

Our engineering office is based on the concept of “Envision Lab.,” combining “Envision”—creating a better future—with “Lab.,” a place to explore new technologies and ideas.
To make the office a hub for new innovation, we have introduced hot desking to encourage greater communication and collaboration.

Here a variety of simulations—for example, magnetic field, thermal, fluid, and structural analysis—and verification experiments are undertaken with the aim of improving design quality.
