  • FTSE Blossom Japan Index

    FTSE Blossom Japan Index

    Tsurumi has been selected as a constituent of the FTSE Blossom Japan Index, which comprises Japanese companies that have demonstrated excellence in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices.
    The FTSE Blossom Japan Index, created by the global index provider FTSE Russell, is designed to measure the performance of companies demonstrating excellence in ESG practices. This index is widely used to create and assess sustainable investment funds and other financial products.

    FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index

    Tsurumi has also been selected as a constituent of the FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index, which reflects the performance of Japanese companies with relatively excellent environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices in their respective sectors.
    The FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index, created by the global index provider FTSE Russell, is designed to be sector-neutral. Moreover, to promote the transition to a low-carbon economy, companies with particularly high greenhouse gas emissions are only included if their improvement efforts have been recognized through the Transition Pathway Initiative (TPI) Management Quality Score.

    CDP

    We have received “B” scores from the CDP, an international non-governmental organization that evaluates and discloses the environmental initiatives of companies and other entities, in its fiscal 2025 survey in the modules of climate change and water security.
    Tsurumi began making disclosures to the CDP in fiscal 2022. This is the second consecutive year we have received a “B” score in the climate change module and the first time we have achieved this honor in the water security module.

  • Nikkei Sustainable Management Survey 2024: SDGs Management Edition

    Nikkei Sustainable Management Survey 2024: SDGs Management Edition

    We received a three-star rating in the Nikkei Sustainable Management Survey 2024: SDGs Management Edition. This survey comprehensively evaluates the SDGs management of listed companies and leading unlisted companies on a five-star scale.

    TCFD

    We have endorsed the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) since 2023. We are appropriately identifying the risks and opportunities that climate change may have on our business in line with the TCFD framework while advancing highly transparent information disclosures and strengthening our initiatives.

  • Japan Climate Initiative

    Japan Climate Initiative

    We have been participating in the Japan Climate Initiative (JCI) since 2025. The JCI is a network designed to strengthen information sharing and exchanges of views among companies, local governments, NGOs, and other entities proactively taking measures against climate change.

    2026 Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Organization

    We have continued to be certified as a Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Organization (Large Enterprise Category) every year since 2023 under the Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Organization Certification Program established by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.

  • Eruboshi (Two-star) Certification

    Eruboshi (Two-star) Certification

    We have held the second level (two-star) of Eruboshi certification since 2021. The Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare awards this certification to companies among those having formulated and submitted a General Employer Action Plan that demonstrate outstanding implementation of initiatives for the advancement of women in the workplace.

    Kurumin Certification

    We have held Kurumin certification since 2024. The Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare awards this certification to companies among those having formulated and submitted a General Employer Action Plan that have achieved the goals set forth in that plan and met certain criteria to be recognized as a Childrearing Support Company.

  • Osaka City Leading Company for Women’s Empowerment Certification

    Osaka City Leading Company for Women’s Empowerment Certification

    We have been certified as a Leading Company for Women’s Empowerment by Osaka City since 2016. This certification is awarded to companies engaged in efforts to promote the advancement of women in the workplace. The certification applies to companies taking diverse ongoing measures, such as supporting career development and creating a work-friendly environment.

    Nagoya City Childrearing Support Company Certification

    We have been certified as a Childrearing Support Company by Nagoya City since 2018, as a company working to create an environment in which employees can balance childrearing and work.

    Nagoya City Work-life Balance Promotion Company Certification

    Since 2021, we have been certified by Nagoya City as a Work-Life Balance Promotion Company, which recognizes companies that promote work-life balance and meet certain criteria.

Selected as an Outstanding Exhibitor in the Technology Focus Category at the Sewage Works Exhibition ’25 Osaka Exhibitor Contest The technologies and other products we exhibited at the Sewage Works Exhibition were recognized for their innovation, novelty, versatility, and effectiveness. We were then selected as an Outstanding Exhibitor, based on votes from visitors to the exhibition and the judging panel. This marks our second consecutive year receiving this award, following on from our recognition in 2024.

Obtained the Construction Technology Review Certificate (Sewerage Technology) from the Japan Institute of Wastewater Engineering and Technology (JIWET) for our submersible smashing cutter pumps Our submersible smashing cutter pumps obtained the Construction Technology Review Certificate (Sewerage Technology) as non-clogging pumps featuring a mechanism at the suction inlet to prevent blockages. The Construction Technology Review Certificate (Sewerage Technology) is a program administered by the Japan Institute of Wastewater Engineering and Technology (JIWET). The objective of this certificate program is to contribute to promoting the use of new technologies in sewerage projects. It involves conducting a technical review of new technologies researched and developed by private companies to objectively verify their performance, characteristics, and other features.
